Welcome to Point Chevalier Drama Club's After-School Classes at the Point Chevalier Sailing Club.
Overlooking the sea with one of Auckland's best hidden views, the Sailing Club provides the perfect setting for young people to explore their imaginations, build confidence, make friends, and develop performance skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Term 3 has an Acting for Screen focus. While we still play all our favourite drama games (and discover plenty of new ones!), students will also learn the foundations of screen acting and how to feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
Students will learn how to create self tapes, take part in mock auditions and sometimes real ones! , explore age appropriate scenes for screen, and enjoy a range of fun on-camera games and activities designed to build confidence and creativity.

Thursday 3.30-4.30pm Drama 7yrS+
New Venue. Grey Lynn Primary
Our after-school drama classes for 7–10-year-olds are the perfect blend of fun, imagination, and performance skills. It's a nurturing and energetic environment where young minds can explore their creativity, build confidence, and make new friends. Open to all students from all schools.
Throughout Term 2, students will:

🎭 Learn how to use their voices and bodies to craft a strong stage performance
🎭 Explore their Acting for Screen Skills too!

wednesday 4.30-5.30pm Drama 10 Yrs+
Venue: Pt Chevalier Sailing Club
These classes are designed to create a fun, supportive environment where students can build confidence, express themselves creatively, and collaborate as a team, all while having a great time
Throughout the term, students will:
🎭 Play engaging drama games
🎭 Learn how to use their voices and bodies to craft a strong stage/screen performance
🎭 Work with scripts, learn how to collaborate, devise and craft scenes

WEDNESDAY 5.30-6.30Pm Drama 13 Years+

Our Term 3 Acting classes for teenagers are designed to challenge and inspire young actors to explore their full potential all within a fun, supportive, and creatively charged environment. Whether your teen is aiming for the stage, the screen, or simply looking to build confidence and express themselves, this is where the journey begins.
Join us for a term packed with play, growth, and serious fun where young performers are supported every step of the way.

Singing Classes with Molly -Tuesday 4.30-5.30PM
Venue: Pt Chevalier Sailing Club
Singing for The Love of It!
Come and set your voice free under the expert guidance of Molly Curnow! Our singing classes provide a safe and supportive space where young singers can discover their unique voices, learn essential vocal warm-ups, and experience the joy of singing together in a choir.
At the end of each term, students will have the opportunity to showcase their growth in an exciting performance for parents, whether as part of a group or in a solo spotlight.
Perfect for students 6-10 years who love to sing and want to have fun while learning

2026 Term 3 dates
Term 3 drama classes at Pt Chevalier Sailing Club run for 10 weeks from Tuesday 21st July until Wednesday 23rd September
Term 3 drama classes at Greylynn Primary run for 8 weeks from Thursday 30th July until Thursday 17th September
No classes on Public Holidays unless by arrangement.
Greylynn Primary Classes are held at the school- 44 Surrey Crescent, Greylynn
Point Chevalier Sailing Club classes are on Raymond Street, Point Chevalier, 1022.
